Dreams2Destiny Center, Inc. is a 501 c-3 organization that began in the heart of Joe Jones in 1997 and incorporated in 2000. The purpose of this non-profit is to help people realize their life purpose and calling and move towards actually doing it. Joe began moving in the direction of his calling by consulting with ministries and individuals and helping them get back on track and move forward once again. In that process he realized that part of his future was to become a shepherd to people and develop the heart of a pastor. So he began doing seminars to help people raise to life the dreams that they thought had died.
As this small group of folks gathered to discuss God, dreams and destiny, something bigger was about to be born. That ministry would launch The Landing Community Church in 2002. The name comes from the fact that our meetings were held initially at an airport...the Jones Airport in Jenks, Oklahoma. So this safe place to land for those in a spiritual "holding pattern" would be forever known as The Landing. It wasn't long until there was a need for more space. Miraculously God opened the door to a warehouse...an unfinished one that could be fashioned into whatever our dream was becoming. By this time the dream was also developing in the heart and spirit of the people. And it was awesome! It wouldn't be long until the next facility was ready: 38,000 square feet in South County in the city of Glenpool, OK. So Dreams2Destiny Center,Inc. purchased the building to become a headquarters for ministry and another phase of this incredible dream.

Presently, that building is home to several organizations with a sincere heartfelt desire to meet the tangible needs of the community and to bring hope to the hopeless. Inside this spacious center you will find The Glenpool Outreach Center which provides food and special assistance with utilities to those in the community. Just down the hall you will find W.I.C.: where nutrition and care is provided for those mothers that need some extra support. In the south end of the facility is The Landing Community Church where there are weekly services(SUN 10am and WED 7pm) to help folks reconnect to God and be inspired again to succeed!
The Landing's Story
In March of 2002 with a handful of folks we officially became The Landing Community Church. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things and finding a way to get out of their spiritual holding pattern and land safely with other believers.Today The Landing is a inter-denominational church where you find a warm and friendly family atmosphere. You will be greeted by a friendly face before you are invited into the worship center where you can relax and be yourself while God speaks to you in a very practical way. In this environment you can develop your talents and experience your own personal divine encounter with your Creator. Pastor Joe (Jones), spent nearly two decades in the contemporary Christian music business, producing over 1000 live concert events for singer CARMAN from the early 1980's to 2000. It was at that time that God began sharing His plan and the runway was cleared for The Landing.
What is different about The Landing? People matter. Though we all go through ups and downs we believe that inside every one of us God has planted dreams and visions that will bring Him glory and us complete happiness. Dress is informal and the worship is refreshing and inspiring. Oh, and another thing...we don't TAKE an offering, we RECEIVE one! You won't find a bucket or plate passed here. As God serves up His spiritual buffet to feed your spirit, we believe that you will want to invest in what He is doing and simply give back into the ministry that is feeding you! Just drop your contributions in the boxes by our doors as you leave or as you enter. After all, God loves a cheerful giver!
So if you feel like you have been circling around God for a while, if you are in a spiritual holding pattern there is some good news! Fasten your seat belts, put your seat backs and tray tables in their upright and locked positions and prepare for arrival.

The Landing Community Church meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm and Sunday mornings at 10am. The youth gather at 7pm on Wednesday nights in the Velocity Youth Center on the north end of the facility.
Stop circling and make your approach this week! You've been cleared to land!

Our Pastor
Joe S. Jones is the Founding President of Dreams2Destiny Center, Inc. a non-profit organization that is passionate about helping people unwrap the things that God planted in them and move them towards fulfillment. He founded The Landing in 2002 as part of his own dreams2destiny expereince.
Up Close and Personal
An ordained minister for more than 26 years, Joe has extensive experience in the music industry as well. He has assisted in the booking, promotion and management of many contemporary Christian recording artists; most significantly Carman, where he spent nearly two decades serving as Vice President and Executive Director of Carman Ministries,Inc. It was there that he produced over 1000 live events. His achievements include booking and facilitating some extraordinary performances including the history-making Christian music concert where more than 71,000 came out to hear an individual artist (Carman) at the legendary Texas Stadium on October 22,1994. More than 6000 people received Christ at that event!
An author of several books and columns, he serves others as a life-coach, musician, mentor, teacher and pastor. His daily and weekly devotional column called "Cup of Joe" is used by many across the nation as a teaching aid and devotional resource. You can read it each day at cupofjoe.tv

We believe that God gives each of us several dreams and visions in our lifetime that He desires for us to accomplish. They will bring Him glory and us complete happiness. Dreams evolve. They are not stagnant and may adapt to serve the needs and the desires of the culture they are engaging. It's all about innovative ways to experience God in a form that every kid will love! Music, video, drama and prizes...you've been cleared to land!
Puddle Jumpers are 3, 4 and 5 year olds that are imagining their way through the first stages of the journey at The Landing. Kids enjoy games, crafts and some practical stories from God's Word to help shape their future.  The Holding Pattern is for babies and toddlers up to 2 years of age that enjoy a colorful and creative journey to the safest place at The Landing. They may not all sleep but they all will be changed!
Velocity Youth is for Jr. and Sr. high kids.(ages 12 and up) They meet on Wednesday nights at 7pm. We discuss the issues that our young people face today and search for Biblical answers to overcome each challenge.

C4 Community Cell Church Connections If you are looking for a more intimate group to connect with try a C4 meeting. These groups meet each week in different locations. Information is available in the church foyer.
The Glenpool Outreach Center is located here. Each Tuesday from 10am to 2pm the GOC offers utilities assistance and food to those that need it in our community. They also provide a FREE lunch on Tuesdays from 11am-1:00pm. If you would like more information on how to support the GOC or to benefit from its services, please call Gale Sherrill at 918-321-2300 Ext 33.
As we live in a sight and sound culture, we have developed a ministry called STAGE3 which incorporates human videos(dramatic dance set to music). We have groups for all many ages. These teams perform in our services and occassionally travel to others as well. We also enjoy a monthly offering from our Landing House Choir(LHC).
The First Impression Teams,(FIT) take care of hospitality needs and includes greeters, cup of joe cafe helpers and general information table workers. This is a great place to begin serving the church when you are ready. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
The Men's Ministry, hosts a series of Lions Den events each year. They gather at these special events and outreaches in an effort to raise up a group of men to help guide and guard the direction and integrity of our church community.
The Woman's Ministry meets weekly to strengthen our women and build a team of strong servant-hearted leaders. They also have a book club that meets to discuss various Christian books throughout the year.
Audio/Video Ministry From the sound and light board and staging to the ministry of LHB, The Landing House Band, our audio video department is developing people to work in media ministry. If you would like to intern here or just be a part of the creative team, please let us know.
Covenant Covers A ministry that provides homemade prayer blankets to babies with a reminder embroidered on them that Jesus Loves You! In this ministry, whatever you "sew" others will reap! If you like making blankets or quilts this ministry might just be for you!
